Amazing Grace church

 

The below is my testimony, my English is not so good in writing.
My name CHHEAN KIM SAN, I was born in 1990 in a small village of Thmor Bang district, in Kohkong province. I have two sisters and four brothers, my family are the Buddhist and they are farmers. My family were poor, when I finished secondary school, my parents couldn’t support me to study more. In my family were always arguing, it was so messing in my family, my father was fighting with my mother, I was so bored with that kind of life, I felt not enough love from family, I don’t know what to do so I took alcohol as my friend, I started drink alcohol and drunk everyday. When I drunk I used to shout and disturb to other people in the village, sometimes I sleep on the ground, on the way because I couldn’t walk to home, there was a good friend of mine named Phan always bring me home when I drunk. That was a very bad life I never forget it. 

 

In 2011 there was a pastor named Tokna, he graduated from Kamposom Bible School, he started Ministry in my village by teaching English, to bring youths and children to hear the gospel, I heard the news that he teaches English free, I thought that if I know English well it was an easy way for me to find a good job, so I started study English with my friend , Phan, at the mission house. I pretend as a believer go to church every Sunday but absolutely I wasn’t believe. I remembered my first lesson was from the Book of Proverbs was talking about wisdom, my pastor taught me English but I couldn’t understand so he gave me a Khmer Bible to read, the more I read and more understand about God’s love, at that time I knew God, step by step God change my life. Since that time on i prayed to God to direct my path. I helped the ministry by teaching children even though sometimes I did not earn money, but I was patient in my study, my pastor said to me if you can study one and half years I’ll send you to KBS, and I did, so I had an opportunity to study at KBS. God’s love can change my life, and I felt enough love from Him.

 

I went to study at KBS in 2013, I studied hard, three years later I completed my study, I was graduated in 2016, and Rev. Moses sent to Kampot to do ministry and prison ministry too. I came at first was rented a small house for ministry, I taught children and made friends with them, I had two youths and some children stayed with me. In 2017 we had funds to perches land to build the church, and in 14, March, 2018 the church was completed building, my two youths and I move from the small house to stay at the church, in 2019 God called one family husband and wife to believe in God. And in 2020 I got married during the covid period but be thank to God for His Grace to bring us come in one heart to serve Him. Without Jesus my life was  empty, without His Love my life cannot be changed. He called me to serve Him and He put me I shall not be moved. Praise God for He change my life.
